A pair of fabulous rock crystal and gilt iron sconces from Maison Baguès in their iconic Parrots & Foliage theme. Handmade in Normandy, the two-light sconces feature an ironwork frame with a gilt finish adorned with hand-chiseled rock crystal leaves crowning a pair of parrots perched upon urns. Gilt bobeche hold two crystal candle cups beneath faux candlesticks, accommodating two candelabra bulbs. Since 1860, Maison Baguès has been located in the center of Paris and specializes in the creation of luxury lighting. Early on, it became the emblem of French savoir-faire in antique, vintage, Art Deco, & modern lighting and wrought-iron work, along with French craftsmanship, which is highly valued internationally.
