The Marquis de Seignelay fabric is a reproduction of a beautiful Indian textile from the Royal Oberkampf Manufactory in Jouy-en-Josas, printed on a wooden board around 1787. It perfectly illustrates the taste for exoticism during this century. The runner has been quilted and is reversible with a complementary striped back and scalloped edge.
